My Fitness Made Simple

My name is Matthew Crittenden and I am the owner of My Fitness Made Simple. With over 20 years of martial arts experience, I discovered my passion for working with people and their bodies to help them overcome physical challenges. While attending University of Arlington Texas, I received my CPT (certified personal trainer), CES (corrective exercise certification), PES (performance enhancement specialist), and CNS (certified nutrition specialist).

I started working for gyms as a personal trainer like most new trainers do. After some time I landed a job as a trainer at a local gym and worked up to Regional Fitness Director. This experience taught me a lot about how to manage a business, but more importantly what I would do differently if I was the owner of my own business. I had started to build my own brand on the side in late 2019. As we all know, March of 2020 was a time we'll never forget. COVID-19 hit the world and shut everything down, including the gym I was currently employed at. During my time away from work, I spent the next few months building my business and implementing processes in the way I saw fit. Gyms in Texas opened back up in May of 2020, and by August of 2020 I quit my employed position to work for myself full time.

My specialty I bring to you is online personal training, delivering customized fitness programs that fit seamlessly into your lifestyle. With the flexibility and convenience of online training, you can achieve your fitness goals from anywhere at any time. I've had the privilege of successfully coaching over 250 clients, helping them transform their lives through personalized, effective, and accessible health coaching.
